CONVENIENCE OF ONE BOTTLE
Using a single bottle simplifies the dosing process. Consistency ensures that the tank receives a uniform dosage of essential elements. Simplicity in maintenance, managing one bottle simplifies the overall maintenance of the tank. It's easier to keep track of inventory, expiration dates, and reorder when necessary.
Coral Power Nitrate Power Up
Coral Power Nitrate Up is a concentrated, inorganic nitrogen source (50,000 ppm). In bacteria driven systems it provides an essential nutrient source to assist in biologically balancing marine aquarium systems. Increasing the available nitrate allows the bacteria present to naturally bring down phosphate levels while providing a food source for your corals.
In ULNS (Ultra Low Nutrient Systems) aquariums corals can become pale and unhealthy if they are starved of available nitrate. Coral Essentials recommends using Coral Power Nitrate Up when your system is too efficient at removing nitrate. Coral will be more vibrant and colourful when nitrate and phosphate are maintained at correct levels. Coral Essentials recommends running your aquarium at a nitrate level between 1ppm and 5ppm.
Coral Power Phosphate Up
Coral Essentials, Coral Power Phosphate Up is a balanced, inorganic phosphorous source (1,000 ppm). It has been specifically formulated to assist in the uptake of nitrate in aquarium systems. The phosphate-based nutrient source, along with naturally occurring bacteria, provides the right environment for nitrification to ensure the uptake of excess dissolved organics.
In ULNS (Ultra Low Nutrient Systems) aquariums corals can have poor colouration and are unhealthy if they are starved of available phosphate. Coral Essentials recommends using Coral Power Phosphate Up when you can not achieve the levels of phosphate to maintain a balanced carbon/nitrate/phosphate system. Coral will be more vibrant and colourful when nitrate and phosphate are maintained at correct levels. Coral Essentials recommends running your aquarium at a phosphate level between 0.01 ppm and 0.05 ppm.
