Acan echinata's are one of the most underrated corals in the game. Their large polyps open up in dramatic fashion when it's time to eat making for an impressive feeding display. While slower growing this species makes up for it with looks. Sporting some of the brightest coloration in the coral game the Groovy echinata won't disappoint. Be careful with echinata's as they can be rather aggressive and are prone to "eating" nearby corals. Be sure to give them their personal space.
HUSBANDRY NOTES: LPS- We keep our corals under Dalua/Illumagic X4 LED lights with an intensity of approximately 150 PAR and feed regularly with Polyp Lab Reef Roids and BenePets.
