Panta Surge 63. NEW!

Behold the long awaited Panta Surge!  This wave device is designed to move water in a fashion that replicates natural reef movement.  By separating the intake from the output, the entire aquarium now becomes intricately involved in water transfer.  Not only does the pump pull water from the bottom and return it out of the top, it reverses to create an opposite flow.  Each direction can be adjusted in both  intensity duration.  Advanced control function including syncing with an endless amount of additional pumps is all possible with the purchase of the USB adapter, however the software included in the 63 units are quite robust. In our experience, the USB adapter is not needed to program this unit in order to dial it in well.  Using the highly engineered Panta Rhei ECM63 pump, this unit is quiet and strong.

Not shown is the wire that runs out of the top of the unit.  Units come standard with the 45 degree cap.  For placement desiring the straight forward please purchase the optional straight output for the Panta Surge 63.  

Height is critical!  Please measure your aquarium from the top of the sand/glass to the water level and choose a unit that is within 2" less of this height.  The longer the unit the better.  You can place a small flat rock (MarcoRocks Double side cut or STAX works great for this) under the unit if you want to elevate it slightly off the sand bed.  If doing this please account for the height in your measurement and order.  

This size unit (regardless of height) is recommended for reef aquariums 90 gallons +   For larger aquariums consider 2 or more units.
